......Panther's head coach, Bill Curry Atlanta native, was hired in June 2008. He has spent the last two years developing and directing every aspect of the football program. Curry has a long history of successful coaching at the college level. He is a former coach at Georgia Tech, Alabama, and Kentucky. In 1985, Curry was named ACC Coach of the Year. In 1989 he was the SEC Coach of the Year. Curry was also named Bobby Dodd National Team of the Year 1989th Curry is a respected professional football career, playing a total of ten years in Green Bay, Baltimore, Houston and Los Angeles. He was an NFL All Pro center, and played in two Pro Bowls and three Super Bowls. He began his college coaching career in 1980 at his alma mater, Georgia Tech.
